Staff rewards help improve productivity and morale

Your staff are your best asset and many businesses are looking for ways in which they can boost morale and productivity at work. In some cases, this might mean looking at working practices and ways in which they can help with the amount of work that the employees need to do, and in other cases, it might be looking at ways to reward employees for a job well done.

The traditional way of rewarding employees has been to give them a bonus payment once a year, or a performance-related pay rise. There is now a shift to looking at other ways that you can reward your employees, either for a job well done or in general to help boost their loyalty to the company and to make them feel valued.

Team Gifts from companies like Miller & Co can be a great way to reward your staff at the end of the year at the end of a project. This can also double up as a team bonding experience if you give the gifts out together.

Birthday time off. Some companies are allocating their employees an extra day’s annual leave to take on their birthdays or on a day nearest to their birthday if it happens to fall on a weekend. This is a great way to show your staff that you value them and it gives them the opportunity to spend the day with family and friends doing activities they love.
